Warren V. "Pete" Musser
Legendary investor and veteran of the technology and financial industries, Pete Musser has been a leading figure in the business world as both an entrepreneur and a chief executive for more than 60 years.
Pete is perhaps best known for founding Safeguard Scientifics, Inc. As the Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer from 1953 until 2001, Pete helped to create the publicly traded private equity company model and popularized the rights-offering shareholder dividend process. Pete is credited with being the founding investor behind Comcast; QVC; Novell; and Cambridge Technology Partners.
Today, Pete continues to serve as Chairman Emeritus of Safeguard, and is also the President and Chief Executive Officer of The Musser Group, a financial consulting company.
Pete is a strong supporter of and contributor to the community at-large through the Musser Foundation. He is a member of a variety of civic, educational, and charitable boards of directors, and serves as Chairman Emeritus of Economics PA
Pete earned a B.S. in Industrial Engineering at Lehigh University.

Thomas C. Lynch
Mr. Lynch, a retired naval officer, has served as Senior Vice President of The Staubach Company, a real estate advisory firm, and is now Chairman of New Day USA. Mr. Lynch previously held a number of executive positions at Safeguard Scientifics, Inc., including Senior Vice President. Prior to his entering into joining the business arena, Mr. Lynch had a decorated 31-year naval career, retiring with the rank of Rear Admiral. A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, Mr. Lynch's positions included Chief, Navy Legislative Affairs; Commander of the Eisenhower Battle Group during Operation Desert Shield; Superintendent of the U.S. Naval Academy from 1991 to 1994 and Director of the Navy Staff at the Pentagon from 1994 to 1995. Mr. Lynch was also the captain of the 1963 Navy Cotton Bowl team with Roger Staubach, its Heisman winning Quarterback.

Michael M. Carter
Michael M. Carter is Managing Director of The Musser Group, where he works with entrepreneurs to help finance, structure, and build growth companies. Mike is a former software and IT Services entrepreneur and executive. Mike is founder and former CEO of Dashboard Systems, sold to Cisco Systems funded CXO Systems. Prior to founding Dashboard Systems, Mike founded and was CEO of Ajunto, the first online marketplace for the IT Industry and now part of Web Services software leader SOA Software, where Mike served as Chief Sales and Marketing Officer following the acquisition in 2001. Carter was Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer for US Interactive and helped take the company public as the youngest Executive Officer of any Safeguard Scientifics funded public company. Carter began his career in client-server technology with Cambridge Technology Partners working in a variety of leadership roles in consulting, business development, and marketing. Carter holds a B.S. and M.S. from Saint Joseph's University. Mike serves on various boards including the Board of Visitors for the Moorestown Friends School; the board of The Musser Foundation.
