Warren V. "Pete" Musser
A veteran of the technology and financial industries, Pete Musser has been a leading figure in the business world as both an entrepreneur and a chief executive for more than 50 years.

Pete is perhaps best known for his role at Safeguard Scientifics, Inc. As the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer from 1953 until 2001, he facilitated the formation and success of many of today’s top Fortune companies, including QVC, Comcast, Novell, Inc. and more. Today, Pete continues to serve as Chairman Emeritus of Safeguard, and is also the President and Chief Executive Officer of The Musser Group, a financial consulting company. He also remains active on a number of corporate boards as a Director of Internet Capital Group, Inc., NutriSystem, Inc., InfoLogix, Inc., and Health Benefits Direct Corp.

Pete is a strong supporter of and contributor to the community at-large. He is a member of a variety of civic, educational, and charitable boards of directors, and serves as Chairman of Economics PA.

Pete earned a B.S. in Industrial Engineering at Lehigh University.

Michael M. Carter
Michael M. Carter is Managing Director of The Musser Group, where he works with entrepreneurs to help finance, structure, and build growth companies. Mike is a former software and IT Services entrepreneur and executive. Mike is founder and former CEO of Dashboard Systems, sold to Cisco Systems funded CXO Systems. Prior to founding Dashboard Systems, Mike founded and was CEO of Ajunto, the first online marketplace for the IT Industry and now part of Web Services software leader SOA Software, where Mike served as Chief Sales and Marketing Officer following the acquisition in 2001. Carter was Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer for US Interactive and helped take the company public as the youngest Executive Officer of any Safeguard Scientifics funded public company. Carter began his career in client-server technology with Cambridge Technology Partners working in a variety of leadership roles in consulting, business development, and marketing. Carter holds a B.S. and M.S. from Saint Joseph's University. Mike serves on various boards including the Board of Visitors for the Moorestown Friends School; the board of The Musser Foundation; the board of the Innovations Committee for The United Way of Pennsyvania; and on the Philadelphia Library technology board. Additionally Mike serves as Co-Chairman and founder of DirectorForce, the leading OnDemand Software company for Directors and Boards, and board member for D&O Direct and College Fanz, Inc.

Thomas C. Lynch
Mr. Lynch, a retired naval officer, has served as Senior Vice President of The Staubach Company, a real estate advisory firm, since 2001. Mr. Lynch previously held a number of executive positions at Safeguard Scientifics, Inc., including Senior Vice President. Prior to his entering into joining the business arena, Mr. Lynch had a decorated 31-year naval career, retiring with the rank of Rear Admiral. A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, Mr. Lynch's positions included Chief, Navy Legislative Affairs; Commander of the Eisenhower Battle Group during Operation Desert Shield; Superintendent of the U.S. Naval Academy from 1991 to 1994 and Director of the Navy Staff at the Pentagon from 1994 to 1995. Mr. Lynch was also the captain of the 1963 Navy Cotton Bowl team with Roger Staubach, its Heisman winning Quarterback.
